000_1352.JPG000_1351.JPG000_1349.JPG000_1348.JPG000_1346.JPG000_1342.JPG000_1341.JPG000_1338.JPGAD 306-307, AE Follis, RIC-VI-70a, minted at Aquileia, 8.25 gms, 28.2mm, graded Choice VF by the numismatist/dealer from whom I purchased the coin (back when Choice VF denoted a VERY nice coin!), Obverse:   laureate head of Severus II facing right, SEVERVS NOB CAES, Reverse:  Mars helmeted, advancing right, holding a transverse spear and carrying a trophy over his shoulder, VIRTVS AVGG ET CAESS NN, AQ Gamma in exergue, lovely chocolate brown patina with some silvering present, a superb and pin sharp portrait of Severus, a detailed Mars on the reverse, full and clear legends on both sides with the exception of the B in NOB and the C in CAES on the obverse not fully struck up, a very lovely coin indeed,  Asking price: $325 includes priority shipping and insurance000_1337.JPG
