Elagabalus Antoninianus, Emperor AD 218-222, minted at Rome AD 218-219, RIC 138, RSC 255, 23 mm, 4.73 gms, Obverse:  radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Elagabalus facing right, IMP CAES M AVR ANTONINVS AVG, Reverse:  Salus standing right, feeding a snake she is holding in her arms, SALVS ANTONINI AVG, a well struck and centered coin that is very lustrous with just the tiniest touch of attractive toning, an absolutely superb and exquisite portrait of Elagabalus, with a sharp and detailed Salus and serpent on the reverse, full and clear legends on both sides, a beautiful coin indeed struck on a large flan and graded Nice EF by the numismatist/dealer from whom I purchased it, Asking price:  $625 includes priority shipping and insurance in the U.S., registered to other countries (see shipping information page)
