Maximinus Denarius, Emperor AD 235-238, struck at Rome AD 235-236, RIC 16, RSC 99, 20 mm, 3.49 gms, Obverse: laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Maximinus facing right, IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, Reverse: Victory advancing right, holding a wreath and a palm branch, VICTORIA AVG, very (very!) lustrous coin, superlative portrait of Maximinus, detailed Victory on the reverse, full and clear legends on both sides, well struck and centered and nothing less than a gem and a jewel of a coin, graded Superb EF by the numismatist/dealer from whom I purchased it, Asking price: $355 includes priority shipping and insurance, registered to other countries (please see shipping information page)

Maximinus Denarius, Emperor AD 235-238, struck at Rome March AD 235-January AD 236, RIC IV, Part II, page 141, 14d; RSC 85; Van Meter 10, Obverse: laureate and draped bust of Maximinus facing right, IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, Reverse: Salus seated left, holding a patera in her right hand from which she is feeding a snake rising from an altar, SALVS AVGVSTI, very lustrous coin, a superb portrait of Maximinus in high relief with his patented and prominent nose and chin, very detailed reverse, full and clear legends on both sides with the exception of the V in AVG on the obverse softly struck, a beautiful coin with a wonderful portrait of Max Thrax, Asking price: $178 includes priority shipping and insurance
