Hostilian Antoninianus, Caesar AD 250-251, Emperor AD 251, struck as Caesar at Rome, RIC 181, RSC 34, 3.48 gms, Obverse:  radiate and draped bust of Hostilian facing right, C VALENS HOSTIL MES QVINTVS N C, Reverse:  Hostilian facing left, wearing military attire, holding a standard in his right hand and an inverted spear in his left arm, PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS, a very lustrous coin with a sharp and superb expressionistic portrait of Hostilian, a detailed Caesar and devices on the reverse, and full and clear legends on both sides, a lovely coin well centered and struck on excellent silver, a scarce issue, Asking price:  $625 includes priority shipping and insurance in the U.S., registered to other countries (please see shipping information page)
