Claudius Gothicus Antoninianus, Emperor AD 268-270, RIC 52, RSC 124, 3.2 gms, Obverse:  radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Claudius Gothicus facing right, IMP C CLAVDIVS AVG, Reverse:  Jupiter standing facing, his head turned right, holding his thunderbolt and scepter, IOVI STATORI, lustrous, partially silvered coin that is very attractive, in hand the reddish areas appear as what they are, diffused red highlights, a superb portrait of Claudius with a sharply struck hair and beard, detailed Jupiter on the reverse, full and clear obverse legend with the exception of IM in IMP not fully struck up, last part of  reverse legend not fully struck as shown, a lovely coin with an excellent portrait, Asking price:  $92 includes priority shipping and insurance in the U.S., registered to other countries (see shipping information page)
